Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain (CEO)

Dr. Hussain is a graduate of medicine from Dow Medical College. He passed Sindh Public Service Commission exam in 1974 and joined Health Services of Government of Sindh. Throughout his career of 34 years with the Government of Sindh Dr. Hussain held many important positions. For example, Dr. Hussain was RMO GEN-1 responsible for entire Surgical and Medical store procurement at one of the biggest hospitals in Pakistan.

In recognition for his passion for the service of humanity combined with his unique skills in public dealing, conflict resolution and management, Dr. Sajjad promoted to the important positions of Deputy Medical Superintendent and Additional Medical superintendent.
He remained in the main stream administration of highly demanding and overloaded prestigious institute of Civil Hospital Karachi from 1974 to 1995. At the time Civil Hospital Karachi was the biggest Hospital of the country with bed strength of 1750 and 9 operation theatres and 36 departments. The Hospital had one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the world.

He has headed many large public hospitals as the Chief Executive / Medical Superintendent. In 1995 he joined the World Bank Family Health Project as the Project Director. He was instrumental in developing rural health service structure and primary care services along with various immunization programs. He was also the member of many project committees with World Bank and represented the Health Department at the top economic planning commission forum from 1995 to 1997. Dr. Hussain has been invited as the Guest of Honour at various international universities where he delivered key note speeches to young graduates.

He is currently engaged with the Australian Concept Group since 1998 as the Chief Executive Officer and is a known speaker and authority in field of infertility. He is currently an active member of the following prestigious societies Member European society of Human reproduction:

  • Member American society of reproductive Medicine
  • Member of European society of sexual Medicine.

Dr. Hussain continues to lead the Research and Development Unit at the Australian Concept Infertility Medical Centre with the aim of improving the quality of life of common people and bringing world class infertility treatment to Pakistan at affordable prices.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Ikram (IVF Consultant at Dr. Sajjad’s Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center) is a renowned consultant and Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Shaikh Khalifan Bin Zayed Al-Nahayan Medical & Dental College, Lahore (Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex) since March 2015, and having experience of more than 20 years in this area of health. He has participated in national and international conferences. He is an active participant in various training sessions and workshops conducted by CPSP

Dr. Qurat is a graduate of Dow Medical College Karachi. She did her Fellowship (FCPS) in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2005 from The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). She has completed MCPS in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2004. She has done MRCOG-1 from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists. She has also done diploma in Diagnostic Sonology & Ultrasound imaging in Obs & Gynae.

Dr. Mohammad Tahir Bashir Malik

Dr Mohammad Tahir Bashir is a graduate of Punjab Medical College. He completed his MCPS (Surgery) in 2009. He did his Fellowship FCPS (Urology) in 2010 from The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). In 2016 he has done FACS (Urology) from American College of Surgeons Pakistan. He has also done FRCS (Urology) in 2017 from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. At present he is working as Consultant Urologist & Infertility Specialist at Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center Faisalabad

Dr. Zareen Kiran is a budding Endocrinologist in the city. She has recently completed her Fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism from Agha Khan University Hospital and passed F.C.P.S. in Endocrinology in the first attempt. She is interested in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, pituitary disorders, and polycystic ovary syndrome. She graduated from Dow Medical College and did F.C.P.S. in Internal Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. She has also received M.R.C.P from Royal College of Physicians, U.K., and is also a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Thyroid Association.
