Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain (CEO)

Dr. Hussain is a graduate of medicine from Dow Medical College. He passed Sindh Public Service Commission exam in 1974 and joined Health Services of Government of Sindh. Throughout his career of 34 years with the Government of Sindh Dr. Hussain held many important positions. For example, Dr. Hussain was RMO GEN-1 responsible for entire Surgical and Medical store procurement at one of the biggest hospitals in Pakistan.

In recognition for his passion for the service of humanity combined with his unique skills in public dealing, conflict resolution and management, Dr. Sajjad promoted to the important positions of Deputy Medical Superintendent and Additional Medical superintendent.
He remained in the main stream administration of highly demanding and overloaded prestigious institute of Civil Hospital Karachi from 1974 to 1995. At the time Civil Hospital Karachi was the biggest Hospital of the country with bed strength of 1750 and 9 operation theatres and 36 departments. The Hospital had one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the world.

He has headed many large public hospitals as the Chief Executive / Medical Superintendent. In 1995 he joined the World Bank Family Health Project as the Project Director. He was instrumental in developing rural health service structure and primary care services along with various immunization programs. He was also the member of many project committees with World Bank and represented the Health Department at the top economic planning commission forum from 1995 to 1997. Dr. Hussain has been invited as the Guest of Honour at various international universities where he delivered key note speeches to young graduates.

He is currently engaged with the Australian Concept Group since 1998 as the Chief Executive Officer and is a known speaker and authority in field of infertility. He is currently an active member of the following prestigious societies Member European society of Human reproduction:

  • Member American society of reproductive Medicine
  • Member of European society of sexual Medicine.

Dr. Hussain continues to lead the Research and Development Unit at the Australian Concept Infertility Medical Centre with the aim of improving the quality of life of common people and bringing world class infertility treatment to Pakistan at affordable prices.

Dr. Sonia Naqvi is a graduate of Dow Medical College Karachi. She has done M.R.C.O.G. From Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists in 2001. She has also done FRCOG in 2013 from London. She has done various Courses including Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Family Planning etc.At present she is working as Consultant Gynecologist & Infertility Specialist at Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center Karachi.

Prof Col Dr. Nazli Hameed started her professional career in Army by joining Army Medical college in 1985. After completing MBBS in 1989 she joined Pakistan Army as Captain. During her tenure at Army medical College, she earned various gold medals & COAS Gold Medal as the best graduate. Dr. Nazli Hameed is working as a Consultant Gynecologist & Infertility Specialist at Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center Lahore. Her special interests are Infertility, PCOS, Endometriosis, Fibroids, Uterine Leiomyoma. Prof Col Dr Nazli Hameed started her professional career in Army by joining Army Medical college in 1985.

Dr. Adrianne Pope has a background in science with a Ph.D. in genetics and over 27 years’ experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and pathology services. She commenced her career in 1986 in Queensland, Australia. ART Launched Adrianne into a varied career around the world having directed a number of ART facilities in Australia and overseas with positions in the USA and Ireland.

Dr. Khial graduated from Ayub Medical College University Peshawar in 2002. He has completed his I.M.M. (MCPS) in 2011. He did his Fellowship FCPS (Urology) in 2015 from The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). He has contributed to various research papers in different journals and presented papers in national and international conferences. He got training & exposure to renal transplantation. At present, he is working as a Consultant Urologist & Infertility Specialist at Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center Islamabad.
