Dr. Safia started her career as a doctor after graduating from King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1981. Afterward, she passed her FCPS exam in 2001 after completing her specialty training at Lady Willingdon Hospital Lahore. At Shalimar Medical College / Hospital Lahore, Dr. Safia teaches and practices obstetrics and gynecology as a professor.
Her areas of expertise are in infertility treatment (IUI, ICSI) and gynecological endoscopy (hysteroscopy & laparoscopy). She earned a postgraduate diploma in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) from Warwick University in the United Kingdom (UK).
