Prof. Dr. Fariha Farooq

Dr. Fariha Farooq is a seasoned Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over two decades of clinical and academic experience. She is currently serving as a Consultant Gynecologist at Australian Concept Infertility Medical Center, where she specializes in infertility treatments such as IUI and ICSI, helping countless couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

She is also a Consultant at Farooq Hospital West Wood, Lahore, where she provides expert care in managing complex gynecological and obstetrical cases. Dr. Fariha is deeply involved in medical education and currently holds the position of Co-Chairperson and Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College, Lahore.

A graduate of King Edward Medical University, she earned her FCPS in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1998. Her clinical interests include Gynecological Endoscopy, particularly laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, offering minimally invasive solutions to various women’s health issues.

Dr. Fariha is also a recognized supervisor for postgraduate training (MCPS & FCPS) and serves as an examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate students across Pakistan. She has actively contributed to research, publishing papers in reputed journals and presenting at national and international conferences.
